Films

Here is a selection of the films that I have shot and edited throughout the years. I’m fortunate enough to have worked on these films with some of my greatest friends. We were all new to filming and putting our work out for the public to see. It was a starting point for us to explore our talents, and be bold while doing so.

Couples Interview

Recently, I was asked to interview and film a couple for a project that would be the guide to Godly relationships. Viewers are able to listen to the candid tellings of first meetings, hard conversations, and spiritual connections from Ariel and Maurrie.

“I’m Good”

The short film “I’m Good” is a film about a young black man’s journey through PTSD from childhood, and learning how to transition and navigate through the challenges of adulthood and adult relationships.

“Mr. Librarian”

Prior to the release of “I’m Good”, Director Aaron Evans, and I worked on countless shorts. Evans plays the neurotic Librarian in this short “Mr. Librarian”. Mr. Librarian is obsessively marking the books in the library, when he hears a distinct sound of a bag of chips opening, and the “precious” silence in his library has been broken.

“Suspicious”

Aaron Evans and I return as a film duo to create the next short, “Suspicious”. This time, Evans returns as an innocent bystander who notices what looks like a dead body in the alley. After he decides to check out the body, he was in for a bigger surprise.

Pop! Vinyl Christmas Special

This is a 2 minute film I created when I flipped a room from ordinary to Winter Wonderland Extraordinary with the help of Dollar Store items and Funko Pop! Vinyls.

K-Pop Music Video Reaction Channel

In 2014, my best friend, Meena, and I were the hosts of a web show music video reaction channel called “House of Ratch”. In this episode, Meena and I reviewed the up-and-coming group “BlackPink” with their music video called “Whistle”. This music video garnered the attention of 6,000+ viewers in the span of one week after its’ upload.

DWR Dance Cypher Demo

I got together with two of my very good friends, Debra and Taylah, to film a dance cypher demo. This video was to promote Taylah’s “Dance Worship Revival” (DWR), which was a night for dancers to come together in one space and worship. The evening was filled with dance, music, and the Joy of the Lord.
